Two years after graduating from veterinary school, Dr. Joel Parker established his first private practice, quickly discovering the challenges of ownership. By implementing proven management systems, he transformed his clinic into a Standing Ovation Practice™—a model of operational excellence and exceptional client care.
Building on this success, Dr. Parker founded Veterinary Endoscopy Solutions (“Fiberoptics for Unusual Places™”) and Canine Equipment (“Gear Fer Dogs™”), expanding his expertise in veterinary innovation and animal health. His work in endoscopy deepened his interest in companion animal nutrition, leading to advisory roles with Mars Corporation, Walthams, and Royal Canin.
In 2004, Dr. Parker launched Veterinary Practice Solutions (VPS), a leading firm in veterinary management consulting. Through initiatives like Whiteboard Wednesdays and online training programs, he has guided thousands of veterinarians toward greater time, financial, and leadership freedom.
